New extended no-drone zone for Luton Airport

Residents near Luton Airport - within 5k to be precise - can no longer fly their drones in the area from today (13th March).

The new restrictions come in after the disruption caused by drones at GATWICK at Christmas.

Bedfordshire Police say they now have some 500 members of the Aviation Enthusiast Scheme in and around Luton and they are encouraging them to also report any suspicious drone sightings.
