Man charged in connection with death of missing woman Emma Faulds

A man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman who has not been seen for 12 days.

Emma Faulds, 39, was last seen at about 9.10pm on April 28 in Fairfield Park, Monkton, South Ayrshire.

Police said that a 39 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with her death.

Her body has not yet been found.

The man is expected to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Friday and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
