Drugs bust in Haverhill

Three people have been arested after a drugs bust in Haverhill.

Officers made the arrests on Saturday (9th March) after conducting a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a premises on Sperling Drive in the town.

Police conducted a search and recovered a quantity of herbal cannabis, crack cocaine and heroin worth in the region of £900 and around £125 in cash as well as a lock knife.
 
Police arrested a 36 year-old man and a 39 year-old woman both on suspicion of being concerned in supplying a controlled drug.

A 17 year-old female was also arrested on suspicion of possession of class B or C drugs, suspicion of money laundering, suspicion of being concerned in supplying controlled drug and suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
 
All three were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.
