Officers investigating an unexplained death just off the V4 at Bletchley last month have finally left the scene.
Police were alerted shortly after 1215pm on Monday 21st January to reports by a member of the public who had come across what they believed to be human remains on land close to Watling Street.
Officers had been in attendance at the site to carry out a complex operation to recover the remains and eventually left the scene on Wednesday evening (30th January).
The death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem will take place in due course.
Work is ongoing to establish the identity of the deceased person.
