A man's been injured by three young men in Northamptonshire who threatened him with a screw-driver.

A man's been injured by three young men in Northamptonshire who threatened him with a screw-driver.

The victim had disturbed the gang as they tried to break-into a property in Churchill Way in Burton Latimer.

The offenders are all described as older teenagers.

Officers investigating a burglary and linked assault in Burton Latimer are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to get in touch.

At around 5.45pm on Thursday, 11th April, a man disturbed three men who had forced entry to the rear of a property in Churchill Way.

One of the three threatened the man with a screwdriver, inflicting a scratch to his arm as the trio made their escape.

The offenders are described as three white teenagers, all aged between 16 and 19.

The first was around 5ft 8in tall, of average build with blond hair, wearing a black baseball cap and a black scarf across his nose and mouth.

The second was also around 5ft 8in, of smaller build than his accomplice, wearing dark clothing including a baseball cap and scarf.

The third was 5ft 8in, of slim build, wearing a black tracksuit with a scarf and baseball cap.
