Milton Malsor Man Charged With Murder

Northamptonshire Police say a 5th man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Reece Ottaway.
Cameron Higgs, 19, of Chestnut Close, Milton Malsor, appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, 7th Feb) charged with murder, GBH with intent and conspiracy to commit robbery.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on Monday, February 11.
Mr Ottaway (pictured), 23, from Daventry, was fatally wounded during an incident at Cordwainer House, Byfield Road, at about 1.20am on Friday, 1st February and died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination carried out at Leicester Royal Infirmary found Mr Ottaway died as a result of a stab wound.
Four other men charged with his murder appeared at Northampton Crown Court today (Thursday, February 7).
They have been remanded in custody and are next due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on Tuesday, April 23.
