Officers investigating the murder of a man in Little Harrowden have made a further arrest.

A 38 year-old Wellingborough man was arrested today, Monday, 24th June, on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the death of a 44 year-old man after an incident in Hardwick Road on Friday, June 21.

A 20 year-old Wellingborough man and 28 year-old Thrapston woman previously arrested on suspicion of murder remain in police custody tonight.

LUNCHTIME UPDATE

Northants Police say they've stepped up visibility patrols in the village of Little Harrow, following the death of a 44 year-old man on Friday.

Two people continue to be questioned.

A 20 year-old Wellingborough man and a 28 year-old Thrapston woman were arrested on suspicion of murder after Northamptonshire Police attended reports of a stabbing in Hardwick Road at 8.30pm on Friday, June 21.

A 44 year-old man later died in hospital.

Enquiries into the man’s death are continuing today, with an increased police presence remaining in the Little Harrowden area to provide community reassurance.

Any further witnesses to the incident who have not yet spoken to police are urged to do so by calling 101.
