Murder inquiry over Motherwell flat death

Police have launched a murder inquiry after the death of a man in a flat.

Officers were called to Doonside Tower in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, at 4.10am on Tuesday.

A 30-year-old man found with serious injuries died at the scene.

Police are treating the death as murder and said they are following a positive line of inquiry.
