Man Hit By Reversing Car Dies In Hospital

A man has died after he was hit by a car reversing out of a driveway in South Gloucestershire.

It happened in Manor Lane in Charfield, near Wotton-under-Edge, at 8:55am on Wednesday morning (16th January).

 

The man suffered a fractured rib and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where he sadly died the following day.

 

Avon and Somerset police are now appealing for anyone who was in Manor Lane around the time it happened, or may have information about what happened, to get in touch with them.
