Motorbike rider deaths at Easter in Norfolk

Two men have died in separate motorbike crashes in Norfolk this Easter weekend.

On Saturday evening; traffic police were called just before 730pm to reports of a Suzuki GSXR motorbike which had been travelling from Watton towards Thetford on the A1075, when it was involved in collision with a chevron sign before coming to rest in woodland, close to the junction with Church Road.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the motorcycle's manner of driving immediately prior to the collision, or may have dash cam footage of the incident should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at OCC Wymondham or PC James Lister at Swaffham Roads and Armed Policing Team on 101.

BAWDESWELL CRASH

Police were then called to a fatal collision in Bawdeswell yesterday, Easter day, Sunday 21st April.

A motorcycle was in collision with a Nissan Note and a Kia Sportage on the A1067, near to the junction with the B1147 Dereham Road, at aproximately 10:50am.     

Sadly the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, died at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or the manner of driving of any of the vehicles prior to the incident, should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference CAD 137of 21 April.
