Norwich death - man charged with murder

A man has been charged with murder following an incident in Norwich earlier this week.

Police were called to an address in Dolphin Grove just before 10pm on Tuesday (4th June) following reports of a disturbance.

Officers arrived to find a man in a serious condition.

He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but died on Thursday (6th June).

At this stage; police haven't said what they believe the injuries are.

Pending formal Coroner’s inquest proceedings, police have provisionally identified the victim as James Greene, 39 of Dolphin Grove.

Peter Bruton, 26, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today (Saturday 8th June).
