15 inch machete seized on train in Essex

A man has been arrested after being found with a 15 inch machete on a train between Colchester and Witham last night.

British Transport Police boarded the train at Witham, and carried out a stop and search.

They say a taser was drawn but not fired.

The man from London was arrested on suspicion of two offences.
