Arrests after Burnham-on-Crouch murder

Detectives have launched a murder investigation after the death of a woman in Burnham-on-Crouch.

Police were called by the ambulance service around 12.30am on Sunday, June 9, with reports that a woman had been seriously injured at an address off of Eastern Road in Burnham-on-Crouch.

Despite efforts from paramedics, the woman, aged in her 50s, was pronounced deadat the scene.

 

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
