Officers have released CCTV images of a man they need to speak to in connection with a knifepoint robbery at the Gloucester supermarket yesterday morning.
Police were called just after 11.05am on Wednesday 3 July following the incident at Aldi on Clifton Road in the city.
A man wearing a grey hoodie, face covering, grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers, entered the store and produced a Stanley knife.
He grabbed a female member of the public and held the knife to her, threatened staff and demanded they open the tills. He then grabbed cash from one of the tills and made off on a bike along Bristol Road, heading away from the city centre.
While the man's face is not visible in the CCTV, officers want to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen him prior to the robbery or as he fled the scene.
Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident 128 of 3 July.
