Are I'm A Celeb campmates allowed to smoke? Which 2018 campmates smoke? All the rules around smoking in the I'm A Celeb jungle.
Rita Simons and Malique Thompson-Dwyer have both been caught smoking on this year's I'm A Celeb. But are the celebs allowed to smoke? Here are the rules.
Noel Edmonds appeared to confirm that Rita was a heavy smoker in the jungle, when he mentioned that she 'always has a ciggy in her mouth.'
According to ITV, the celebs are allowed to smoke if they want to, and cigarettes do not count as their luxury item.
They also stated that it's not hidden on-screen, and said: "They have to smoke near the campfire and then put stubs out in the fire.
"We don’t have an allocation regarding cigarettes, if a celebrity smokes they can smoke."
But Rita and Malique aren't the first celebs to be spotted smoking in the history of the show, with Corrie star Jennie McAlpine also caught having a quick drag in 2017.
Helen Flanagan, Laila Morse and Ferne McCann have also been amongst the celebs spotted smoking in years gone by.
Last year, an insider told The Mirror: "They are allowed some cigarettes... Susannah [Constantine] started on e-cig then was on normal ones and there’s a pretty good supply.”
