Four people have been arrested as part of an investigation into a suspected illegal gun factory on the edge of Hailsham.
They were held in raids carried out by the National Crime Agency and Sussex Police ths morning.
The alleged workshop was discovered on an industrial estate in Diplocks Way in August 2018.
A 33-year-old man was arrested in Shoreham, a 30-year-old man was arrested in Eastbourne, a 24-year-old woman was detained at a different address in the town, and a 44-year-old woman was arrested in Lancing, the NCA said.
They are all being questioned on suspicion of conspiring to manufacture, sell or transfer prohibited weapons or ammunition.
