John Barrowman has revealed that Suranne Jones offered to be a surrogate mother for him and his husband Scott Gill should they ever wish to have children.
He made the revelation to his campmates on I'm A Celeb, saying: "One night she told me that if Scott and I ever did decide we wanted to have a child of our own, she’d be happy to accommodate us.
"Perhaps one day I might become a dad, we have a lot of love to give and I adore kids."
Suranne and John formed a tight bond while they were starring together in a stage adaptation of film A Few Good Men at London's Theatre Royal in 2005.
John, 51, who has been married to Scott since 2013, is currently appearing in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
He hit headlines early on in the show after he was rushed to hospital after suffering a nasty accident.
After falling and twisting his ankle as he walked with Harry Redknapp to wash the dishes, he was taken to casualty for an x-ray.
Presenters Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly said at the time: "John Barrowman had an accident in camp last night and was taken to hospital.
"He's fine, he's resting up but unfortunately we've had to exclude him from tonight's vote until we know whether he's able to return to camp."Show bosses confirmed that John was on 'medical lockdown' and his future in the jungle looked uncertain, but he has since returned to the camp.
