Strictly Come Dancing fans furious as Children In Need special winner is leaked

A Strictly Come Dancing fan account has received backlash for revealing who wins the upcoming Children In Need special.

Strictly Come Dancing fanatic, Dave Thorp, took to Instagram to leak the top secret information and now insiders claim his action could effect how many people tune in and donate for the Children In Need special on Friday 16th November.

Speaking to the Daily Star, they said: "The special edition of Strictly is recorded so more people tune in to watch Children In Need. The whole point of it is to encourage people to donate money for vital causes."


Despite the criticism, Dave has defended his actions, as he wrote on the site: “As per last year I will be making a donation to Children In Need in due course so no one can say that posting this spoiler was taking money away from Charity. I will also pay the gift aid on my donation because I don’t earn enough to qualify for gift aid."


He then included details in the post so that other can donate too. The news comes after ti was revealed that Boyzone will be taking part in this year’s Children in Need Strictly special as they celebrate 25 years together.

Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham will partner with Strictly professionals in a bid for glitterball glory.

The partners have also been revealed as Ronan will team up with Gordana Grandosek, Shane will partner with Luba Mushtuk, Keith will partner with Nadiya Bychkova and Mikey will partner with Katya Jones.

Speaking about taking part, Ronan took to Instagram and said: "So excited to announce that Boyzone do Strictly for Children In Need. Tune in Nov 16th!! @bbcstrictly #ChildrenInNeed2018"
