Now that we've dug out our winter coats, put the heating on, and come to terms with the fact we're going to spend the next five months blisteringly cold, we're finally getting excited for Christmas.
And how better to get excited for the festive period than to buy your tickets for the noblest of British traditions - the pantomime.

Snow White at the London Palladium

Dawn French, Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers, Gary Wilmot and Vincent and Flavia star in this year's Snow White at London Palladium. Last year's show won an Olivier award, so we're expecting BIG things.
Peter Pan at Richmond Theatre

Robert Lindsay stars as Captain Hook in this year's Richmond Theatre production of Peter Pan. He's joined by Jon Clegg, Rachel Stanley and Harry Francis in the star-studded line-up.

Aladdin at Hackney Empire

Arguably one of the best pantomimes in the world, Hackney Empire will this year play host to Aladdin, starring Eastenders actress Tameka Empson and universally-acknowledged-best-dame-in-the-world Clive Rowe.

We don't mean to cause alarm, but KIM WOODBURN stars in this year's adaptation of Snow White in Liverpool. So we're guessing it'll be the best pantomime to have ever been. If you sit near the front you're pretty much guaranteed to be called a 'chicken livered s***', surely?
