The 56-year-old DIY SOS star voiced his concerns over the welfare of his campmates during his time in the jungle.
Anne Hegerty has revealed Nick Knowles had a "blazing row" with ITV producers during his time in the I'm A Celeb camp.
The Chase star claims that the “protective” DIY SOS starh voiced his concerns with I’m a Celebrity production staff about the contestants' welfare during his time in the jungle, but the tense scenes were edited out of the show.
Anne, also known as The Governess, told the Metro: "I don’t think they’ve seen how protective he gets with the other campmates, and how he’ll have blazing rows in the Bush Telegraph if he thinks the rest of us are being put at risk in any way."
Nick became a favourite with viewers for his chivalrous attitude and caring nature, lending members of the camp his luxury item, a pillow, and always acting the gentlemen.
Viewers were left worried the DIY SOS star had a medical emergency after he urged his fellow stars to get medic Bob into the camp “as soon as possible” following Anne’s exit.
Eagle-eyed fans saw Nick turning to his co-stars before appearing to whisper: “I think this is fairly important, we need to see Bob as soon as possible, as soon as Anne’s crossed the bridge.”
It came just days after Rita Simons was forced to leave the camp ad seek medical attention after her blood sugar levels dropped to worryingly low levels.
It is not known why he was so eager to see medical staff.
On Sunday night football manager Harry Redknapp was crowned King of the Jungle.
