The Chase star was praised for bringing awareness to autism during her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
This Morning viewers were left in tears this morning after watching I'm A Celeb star Anne Hegerty meet the young autistic boy who wrote her a heartfelt letter while she was in the jungle.
Joseph Hughes penned the emotional letter while she was appearing in the show, and it went viral when his mother posted it on Twitter.
The letter read: "To Anne. My name is Joseph Hughes and I am 11. I live in Preston, Lancashire and I go to a specialist school.
"I was diagnosed with autism when I was 5. I like to watch you on The Chase and now I have been watching you in the Jungle. I think you are very brave for going in the Jungle, I couldn't go there because there are too many bugs.
"You are very clever. Sometimes people are mean to me because I am autistic but watching you makes me see that other people can have autism too and maybe I can have a cool job like you when I am older.
"Do you like Thunderbirds? I love them. My favourite is Thunderbird 2. I have drawn you a picture I hope you like it.
"Good luck in the Jungle I hope you win. Love from Joseph."
While appearing on This Morning earlier today, Anne discussed the letter with Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes. The presenters then surprised her by bringing out Joseph to meet her on the sofa.
Anne told Joseph that she'd been wanting to meet him, then the pair discussed Thunderbirds and she shared facts with the youngster.
Viewers took to Twitter to voice their emotion at the sweet exchange.
One wrote: "Sobbing!!
Another tweeted: "Anne Hegerty on # ThisMorning with the little boy. My heart this woman is unreal."
A third added: "Anne meeting Joseph is fantastically heart warming"
A fourth said: "i’m actually crying at # Thismorning".
Anne also opened up about her time on I'm A Celeb, saying: "I went really quickly from 'I want to win this' to 'I hope I'm the first voted off' to 'get me out of here now'."
