Is Kevin Clifton leaving Strictly Come Dancing? Stacey Dooley confirms his replacement

Is Strictly's Kevin Clifton being replaced? Dance partner Stacey Dooley reveals sadness over the dancing professional's departure.

Journalist Stacey Dooley, 31, has confirmed Kevin Clifton, 36, will be replaced by a new dancing professional for the UK tour next year.

Kevin will be fulfilling other work commitments as he takes to the stage as Stacee Jaxx in the Rock Of Ages musical from January until April.

Instead, Stacey will be teaming up with Aljaz Skorjanec, who was news anchor Kate Silverton's partner for the current series.

Stacey said: "I will miss Kev, but I am looking forward to putting Aljaz through his paces."

As one of the hot favourites to win the 2018 Strictly, Stacey has also confirmed that she will be touring the UK as part of the Strictly Come Dancing Live shows.

She will join the likes of This Morning's Dr Ranj and YouTuber Joe Sugg as they dance their way across arenas.

Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Shirley Ballas will all be reprising their role as judges, whilst Ore Oduba will be back to host the tour.

The fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing will conclude on Saturday 15th December, on BBC1.
