Harry Redknapp still keeps in touch with son Jamie’s ex-wife Louise after ‘difficult’ divorce

Harry revealed that he is still on good terms with the former Eternal star, who is mother to his grandchildren Charley, 13, and Beau, nine.

I'm A Celebrity… winner Harry Redknapp has spoken out about his relationship with son Jamie Redknapp’s ex-wife Louise, claiming their divorce was ‘a huge blow’ for him and wife Sandra.

The 71-year-old former football manager opened up for the first time about the couple, who split after 19 years of marriage in 2017 after reports they’d been affected by the ‘Strictly Curse’.

Harry told The Sun he is still on good terms with the former Eternal star, who is mother to his grandchildren Charley, 13, and Beau, nine.

He said: “It was very difficult for us, it was a choker. We love Louise as well, it was a big blow to all of us.

“It’s all amicable, absolutely. Sandra talks to Louise’s mum all the time.”

Louise’s marriage to Jamie was on the rocks shortly after her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, where she came runner up with dance partner Kevin Clifton.

The news comes after his appearance on Good Morning Britain where he joked that Emily might have a chance with his son Jamie after “scrubbing up well” at the post-jungle wrap party.

He said: “I’ll be honest, when I saw her in the jungle I thought, ‘No chance’.

“I thought, ‘No, you ain’t got a prayer’. But I’ve seen her today when she’s scrubbed up and she looks all right, I’m telling you.

"She looks very useful, she looks good. I went, ‘Who are you?’.

"She went, ‘I was in the jungle with you’, but I went, ‘I haven’t seen you before."
