The death of a former News of the World reporter who blew the whistle on widespread phone hacking was not suspicious, police said last night (Tuesday July 19th).
A post mortem examination was carried out on the body of Sean Hoare who was discovered at his flat in Langley Road, Watford on Monday morning.
A spokesperson for Herts police said: "There was no evidence of third party involvement and the death is being treated as non-suspicious."
She said they were awaiting toxicology reports and an investigation into his health problems.
